We installed a seriously high performing cinema area, speakers with integrated controls throughout the room and some awesome LED lighting.
The pièce de résistance with this room was our final surprise party trick – the ‘Party Time’ button! This one touch control, accessible via the in-wall touch screen, remote control or mobile app, triggers the LED lights to cycle through colours, all blinds in the room to close and our client’s favourite music to start playing! Our customers were over the moon with the finished product and even invited us back to enjoy the room once we’d completed the build.

We kicked off with a consultation to understand what the client’s wanted to achieve from this room. Order of business: “to create a kick-a$$ cinema and party room” – game on!
We showed the customers our ideas for the room by sharing our 3D design. The customers instantly loved it and commissioned us to start the build.
We created a sound stage at the front of the room to house the front LCR and 2 (of the 4) subwoofers, and pillars in the side walls to house seated level speakers. All of this was completed with acoustically transparent fabric wall covering, an integrated screen, and a ceiling mounted projector. Lighting was also integrated into the design, to create a subtle yet stunning ambience.
Now for the games area and bar. The clients went with our design for the bar too, so we added a custom light above the bar, and integrated LED strip lighting around the bar itself. The games area needed a little more brightness, so we opted for spot lighting and a bespoke light above the pool table. All this coupled with an additional 55” Sony TV in the games area, so that nobody needed to miss out on what the others were watching at the front of the room.
We installed blackout blinds from Q-Motion, which are all automated, along with the Rako lighting and with specific scenes set for movie time and party time, ensuring that from the touch of a button, the lights and blinds lower and the projector springs into life ready with their favourite channel.
